Happy New Year!
It’s been a minute since I have written a blog and with the new year upon us, I thought it was time to get back in the groove of things. First, I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year. I had a busy last few months in 2025. In September I was fortunate enough to experience a Mediterranean Cruise and wow! What an adventure, whirlwind for sure but so much fun. From Barcelona to Rome there was so much to see and so much I missed, which gives me a good reason to go back. I was super lucky to accompany my awesome husband on a NYC work trip the week before Christmas. It’s my favorite time of year there, so much to see and do. And last was our annual New Years Eve trip to Cancun, sand, sun and the sound of waves, very relaxing and the perfect way to end the year.
As much fun as I had in 2025, I do have to admit I wasn’t very productive last year. I missed some goals that I had set and, in all honesty, fell into the trap of complacency. I don’t know if I am the only one who has been feeling out of sorts, like I’m stuck on a hamster wheel and don’t know how to jump off, but no time like the present. New year and fresh starts. I think I’ve mentioned before I don’t do resolutions per se, but I do think sometimes you have to assess what you’re doing and where you’re going and maybe scrap the whole plan and start over……so that’s kind of what 2026 will be for me. Reset, reframe, restart. What does that look like here for this blog? First, I am going to be more consistent, so hopefully you won’t get tired of hearing from me, I have some things to say! Second, we are going to talk about brain health, really dive deep. I know it sounds boring but I promise to make it fun. From vibration plates (I’m serious) to weights vs. cardio, from sleep patterns to cycling, and last but not lease social media pros and cons. There is a ton of new information out there and we are going to look at all of it.
I look forward to meeting with you all here weekly and talking about our brain health and if you know me there will be some other interesting things that pop up as well. Let’s do this!
